Otterbox defender case FAIL!

So i have been using th Otterbox defender case since i bought my iPhone in February so its been 5 months. I keep my phone in it all the time and didn't take it off! its never been dropped outside of the case. well yesterday I bought a Sony radio to dock my iPhone on. and i had to take it out of the case. So i gave my iPhone the once over and was not happy to find that the headphone jack is scuffed and dented and that there is a small crack by the charging dock! So as much as i love my Otterbox case i think its time to find something different because obviously its just not doing its job! I dont think i have ever dropped it very hard or very far? And i choose this case based on the reviews and the videos of it withstanding some major drops! I still love otterbox dont get me wrong but ive been sacrificing thinness and lightness for what i thought was amazing protection! So basically for the price of an otterbox defender case im getting insurance for my iphone through www.gotronics.com/gocare
that way i can find a thin protective case and know that im still protected!! ill let you know what I find! who knows maybe another otterbox case will be in my future.

Wacom bamboo fun

So I recently purchased an iPhone 3gs or rather my super loving hubby bought it for me fit our anniversary. Frankly I have no clue how I ever lived without it!! Now I have three sons, and if you know anything about bits they are rambunctious and destructive! So I knew I had to protect my phone from "them" and maybe a lil from me since I tend to have the dropsies! So I did some research on what was the most protective case out there and that's when I found the otterbox!! I went straight to AT&T and purchased one and for 50bucks I expected thus case to be amazing!! My first impression was wow this us so bulky I live the feel of the iPhone but the otterbox defender definently added some bulk. Then it took me an hour to figure out how to open the case since there wernt any directions in the box! So I finally get my phone in it and I like it I Like the feel the protection and it does still fit in my picket even in my skinny jeans.

I have dropped my phone at least a few dozen times now and it's fine but last week I noticed weird filmy bubbles under the screen and I read the baby powder trick and it didn't work so hubby being the"man" that he is decided to take a look at it and says well the case doesn't fit together like it should and there's something weird going on with the screen like. It's dipping down in the middle sure enough the screen was! When we got the Cade from AT&T I'm going to assume there was already an issue with this case because there's a small chink of the corner missing I didn't think anything if it and there were no instructions, and mo screen protectors on the inside of the case. Well hubby says hmm looks like a used Cade that something was wrong with it someone broke then reterned and you bought it!! Well idk if thus us true or not but I contacted otterbox and told them I was having issues with the screen and I had a few minor scratches in the plastic itself and wanted to see if I could get s new front piece I expected at least 20dollars gir a new piece but I just received an email saying thAt they were sending me a new case free of charge!!! Wow I'm soooooooo impressed who does that???? Well otterbox does, I cannot recommend them enough I'm so impressed and the case us amazing!!!!

I want something small that I can take verywhere with me. BUt i want to be able to play back in great quality on my T.V. And i may want to upload to facebook or youtube.

I have been looking at the new Sony bloggie or the Kodak Zi8 or the new kodak playsport!! Sooooo not sure what I should get!! If you have an opinion on these please let me know!!

my poor missing puppy

So our doggy Abby went missing on the 16th. Its been 2 days and we still cna't find her. We have called animal control the humane societys and nothing we have searched and searched.
In our area Dog fighting is a big issue. I think that someone may have taken her for this because she is such a big dog!! She is a great protector and sje is amazing with the kids. We really miss her!!

please pray that she comes home soon!

Another weekend of camping

Busy Busy

So i haven't been blogging at all lately, not just on here but on any of my blogs!! I have a benifit dinner for a family who's 7 year old son was in a car accident and died, his 2 sisters were in the car as well and did servive but have had many surgerys and skin graphs. So at my mothers church they are doing a huge benifit dinner to help raise money for all of their hospital bills.
So as a way to raise money they are having a silent auction and I was asked if i wanted to participate and donate a scrapbooking package. Which i thought was an awsome idea. But it would be to my benifit if i finished my website and re-designed my business cards before then.

So i have been rushing around trying to finish the website and re-do the designs on my business cards in about a week. since hubby decided to plan a camping trip for the first weekend in october and the benifit is on that wednesday!!

so i have decided not to do the printing for the scrapbook on my printer anymore! It takes soo much ink to print them at the quality that i want,
so i have been contacting different printing companies
trying to find the best quality at a great price. I'll post my findings as for who i have choosen to go with in my next post!!

Just another Lazy day

So my 2 year old has his very first cold. He’s not sure what to make of it, but I guess we did pretty well since he hasn’t even had a cold until today. MY hubby decided that it would be fun for the boys to play outside until like 8:00. It was pretty chilly in my opinion. And he woke up with a cold I know i know you can’t get sick from the cold but it certainly does lower your immune system and make you more susceptible to germs. Anyways im dealing with a grumpy boy who is in his terrible twos to boot!
And my 4 year old still hasn’t outgrown the terrible twos!! Good thing my 4 week old is an Angel lol!!

So I finally made the jump into blogging!! I have been digital scrapbooking for almost a year now and I LOVE IT!!
I started out with a simple program. It was very limiting you could only use the templates that they already had within the program, you couldn't edit a page easily and it was very dated.

Fairy tales

So everyday at nap time my three p's and I snuggle up in bed And I either read them a few story's or there favorite is if I make up a story for them. Which usually is about them or involves them some how. So I decided that I'm going to start recording the stories that I make up for them using my iPhones recorder app. and then type out and illustrate the story.

My younger p's dont really get that I'm writing a book about them but big p does he likes to sit with me and have me read every new word or sentence I get down on paper. (or really its a writing app on my iPad lol) he says wow mom you are so good! You have to read this to dad!! And he was my lil critic when I was drawing the first picture for the book. But he did make sure I drew it exactly as it sounded from my story. The castle by the sea.

So far I have most of the story outlined and I told the boys the story at nap time today. Big p is so funny he thinks I'm so amazing because i know how to tell story's! It always amazing to me how kids would much rather have quality time with mommy or daddy over just about anything else. It just shows how important it is to spend time with your kids no matter what it is that your doing it means the world to them.

Now off to write a lil more since everyone is still snuggled up and asleep for nap.
